Crocheting has created a bad habit for me lately…I am jumping from project to project, not finishing one before starting another, and another, and another!! Yesterday was a perfect example. During our monthly crochet class on Wednesday evening one of my clients showed me this great wine glass holder she had made out of material…of course that got my wheels spinning, what about a crocheted wine glass lanyard? Well now of course I had to create one…yes, there are already patterns out there for this exact item but I wanted mine to be a bit different, I wanted it to be able to hold both a stemmed wine glass and a stemless wine glass. So yesterday afternoon, instead of working on the project I told you all I’d be posting here first…I created and adjustable wine glass lanyard and I must say, is really simple, cute, and it works great. I’m still working on writing and testing the pattern so while it’s not here yet it will be here soon and the Fancy Fan Scarf is going to have to take a back seat for a bit. Oh and the poncho that I’ll be making for my Tuesday afternoon class…that’s still being finished along with an afghan that will be a wedding gift, a baby blanket and I’m sure I’m missing a project or two.
